Character Reference Letter Template:
Begin in your character letter by inserting a salutation in the first line before the body. Usually, seen as “Dear.” or in a general approach could be saying, “To Whom it May Concern”.
The first paragraph of the character reference explains how you know the person you are recommending and why you are qualified to write a recommendation. A personal letter, you are writing arecommendation letterbecause you know the person and all their characteristics, rather than because you have direct experience with their work or education
The second paragraph of the reference letter should include specific information on the individual you’re writing about, stating with clarity why they are qualified, what they can contribute, and why you are providing a reference letter. Extend to another paragraph if necessary.
This section of the reference letter is a concise summary of why are you are recommending the person. State that you “highly recommend” the person or you “recommend without reservation” or something similar.
The concluding paragraph of a reference letter should contain an offer to provide additional information. Including all contact information details, phone number, email address in the return address section of your letter.
