What is a cover letter? That is a letter which is very important for person to affect the employer. When applying for a job, a cover letter should be sent or posted with your resume. The cover letter should be simple and specific to the position which you want to apply and it should not include unnecessary details. Never forget that a cover letter creates the first impression about you.
How to Write a Cover Letter?
First of all it should be a targeted cover letter for each employer. The introduction part of the cover letter should include information about why you apply for the specific position, namely you should indicate your interest in the job.
After the introduction, you should state which position or the title you are applying for so that the employer will know which job you are interested in, then you had better explain the
reasons why you are applying the job.
Identify your skills and experiences, this should be short and clear and it must be related to the job you are interested in. Do not duplicate your resume; just specify the skills most match the position. If you refer your qualifications to the related position it should illustrate that you are the right candidate for the job.
Finally, you should mention about your achievements and in the last part of the letter you should inform the employer about how to communicate you (via mobile phone or e-mail etc.) and you should also thank to company or employer for their consideration. Note that you should avoid meaningless and unnecessary information, and never forget that your cover letter is something that complete your resume and make sure it creates a good impression.
